@ badgirl, I agree with you WHOLEHEARTEDLY. It’s not often that darkskinned women are considered beautiful unless they have european features (i.e. kelly rowland, naomi campbell). I had this argument YEARS ago regarding Alek Wek, whom I happen to think is beautiful. I found it ironic that it was YT who held her up as beautiful. Yet everytime her name was mentioned I heard folk talk about how ugly she was. AND Yes, I am dark skinned but I beleive beauty comes in all shades. Besides, if you are ugly inside then you are ugly outside. What I find ironic is that some of the people who put forth as beautiful have the most problems with relationships (black or white) i.e. halle berry, elizabeth taylor.

The year that both Alicia and India were nominated for like 7 grammies each, Alicia won all of them…her album was good, but not better than India’s, which I think most people will agree with.
